If you stream using OBS or Xsplit then Discord also has a feature that will automatically enable streamer mode whenever you open either of those softwares. I would have that enabled just to be on the safe side. If you are streaming and open up your Discord it would be awful if you accidently screen shared some of your personal information. If you have an active Discord all those sounds and notifications could ruin your stream.Īlso, hiding your personal information is a no brainer.
These are really just personal choices, but for me I would recommend enabling all of them. Now as you can see there are several other features that you can toggle on such as “Disable Sounds” and “Disable Notifications”.
